2. ORDERS AND SHIPMENTS

How do you place an order on Italian Design For Living?

The sequence for ordering on Italian Design For Living is very simple. After selecting a product and adding it to the cart, simply click on "Checkout" button. A screen will open where you can enter details for billing and shipping. The first time you make your purchases on Italian Design For Living all your details will be required, then stored in order to facilitate future purchases. If you do not want to save your details you can shop in guest mode.
If the delivery address is different from the invoice address you can indicate both addresses, the important thing is to specify the place of destination of the purchased items. After entering your details, please proceed to the payment and choose your prefered mode. Finally, clicking on the "Proceed" button you will see the summary of the products you've uploaded to your cart. Where can I check the status of my purchases?

Italian Design For Living gives you the option to pay with the most popular credit cards. Security is focused on Italian Design For Living, so your information will be encrypted. You will be able to pay with: • credit card • prepaid card • bank transfer • PayPal.

Is it possible to choose the payment method during the order process?

Payments made by credit card and debit card must be validated by both Italian Design For Living srl and the card issuer in order to protect the security and to prevent fraud. It is also possible to pay both by bank transfer by providing a copy of the payment receipt to customers@italiandesignforliving.biz or through a Paypal account. Keep in mind that we will only be able to send the goods after we have verified your payment.


How long does it take to process my order?

Under the "Add to Cart" button you will find the indicative times for each product. Shipping times are not standard: they may vary depending on stock availability and product type.

Items marked with "Ready for delivery" are already in stock and will be delivered within 6 working days (depending on the country of destination). If, however, your item will need to be worked specifically for your order, you may have to wait a few more days: we will make sure it is worth the wait. Italian Design For Living is committed to meeting delivery times, but if any unexpected events happen or delays occur, you will always be alerted by our operators. Shipment to difficult-to-reach countries may have an extra cost. We will promptly advise you by mail to provide you with the supplement.
INDISPENSABILITY OF THE PRODUCT

- If an item is temporarily unavailable in our warehouse, you will be promptly contacted via email or telephone to inform you about the unavailability of the product and decide which solution to take:

- suspend shipping until item in stock again
- replace the item with another
- proceed to the partial shipment of the items available, if the order was for more than one item. In this case, you will be refunded the amount of unsold item

Who takes care about shipping my parcel?

Italian Design For Living guarantees you simple and interesting shopping, even shipment will be scrupulously followed by our collaborators! Your order will be checked by our logistics service in a safe and convenient way and will be delivered (at the address indicated in the order form) through the best couriers available on the market. Italian Design For Living uses express couriers and couriers specialized in deliveries of bulky material.

What to do when delivering the goods

It is absolutely advisable to check some things during the delivery of your order: upon receiving the products, check that the number of packages correspond to what is indicated in the delivery note, check the integrity of the packages (all the parcels will be sealed with our personalized tape), the presence of signs of opening and signs of anomaly as to the integrity of the content. In the case of anomalies, during the signature on the couriers delivery note, you must indicate this in the "Accepted with reservation" area and send as soon as possible an email with the description of the problem to customers@italiandesignforliving.biz.

How can I request an invoice?

In case you need the invoice, you must give indicate it before completing the order by filling in the relevant field when entering your details. At the end of the purchase you will receive the order confirmation (which will be used for warranty and assistance). When purchasing, click on "Invoice" and enter your tax code or VAT number. You will not be able to request the invoice once the order is completed. The invoice will be sent to you by mail after you have completed the order.

3. RETURNS

In what cases can I request the refund of my order?

If for some reason you are not satisfied with your order, you can claim the refund and return the material (integrity in all parts) in an easy and fast way. The right of withdrawal is governed by the laws in force.

What can I return and with what timing?

You can return the item or items purchased by communicating the intention within 14 working days from the date of delivery of the order. The right of withdrawal governed by these terms of sale does not apply to custom-made or clearly customized goods or which, by their nature, can not be returned or is likely to deteriorate or alter rapidly.

How does the refund proceed?

The items to be refunded must be in their original condition, properly packaged and with authentic packaging. Shipping must be done using the same cardboard box in which it was received to protect the product. If you do not have the protective box used for delivery, the customer will have to return the product in a protective box to make sure the the item will reach Italian Design For Living warehouse with the utmost care. A copy of the delivery note must be placed inside the parcel showing the returned products and the reason for the return. In case you want to proceed with a return write to info@italiandesignforliving.biz and we will arrange the withdrawal through our couriers or give you an indications.

Can the products be replaced?

In the case of a faulty item, we can replace your item with the same item you ordered. You must return the damaged or faulty item within 14 days of delivery (subject to availability). If you intend to replace the item (subject to availability under the Terms and Conditions) or order a different one, you will need to return what you have received and make a new order.
When can a refund be possible?

Product refunds will refund you 100% of the cost you incurred for the item itself. In the case of a faulty or unusual product, Italian Design For Living will also refund you the shipping costs that you will otherwise be charged. Refunds may be made through credit card, bank transfer or PayPal re-credit: to indicate the method selected, write to order@italiandesignforliving.biz Partial refunds will be subject to partial refunds. Italian Design For Living will reimburse you according to the system you specify within 48 hours of the confirmation of arrival in the warehouse of the returned package. Refunds on your credit card, your bank account, or PayPal will be visible in a few days depending on the payment method.

Are products purchased on Italian Design For Living guaranteed?

Italian Design For Living and / or the represented partner producers will, in relation to the products purchased by the customer, provide the legal guarantee of compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in art. 128 and ss. of the Consumption Code. In particular, the rights arising from this guarantee may be exercised provided that the products have been properly used and installed, due diligence and respect for the intended use and as provided for in the instructions and technical specifications included, as well as after delivery by the customer of the delivery receipt received with the same and indication of the order number. Costs related to the return of products due to the exercise of the guarantee will be borne by Italian Design For Living and / or the partner producers.
